Leighton Hall, Carnforth
Dating back to 1246, Leighton Hall, rebuilt in 1763, is the still lived in home of the renowned Gillow furniture making family. Entertaining and informative guided tours of the house where visitors are invited to sit on the antique furniture. No roped off areas! The tours are followed a by a breath-taking Birds of Prey Display (weather permitting). Charming tea-rooms, gift shop, children’s play area, caterpillar maze & woodland trail enhanced by pretty gardens & plenty of places to sit. Ample free parking and disabled facilities.

Open to the general public from May until September, Tuesdays to Fridays – 2.00pm – 5.00pm, Bank holiday Sundays & Mondays, Sundays throughout August.
